If you heard the recent news about Shadow, you will know that they have filed for bankruptcy last month in early March. You might be wondering the status of that situation. Well good news. Shadow has an update.

If you receive their newsletter, the latest one had some information regarding what will be happening to Shadow. The email pointed to their forum post for specific information. You can go read the whole community post but here is what the forum had to say in a nutshell.
New Company Takeover
Apparently there are two different companies that are bidding for Shadow. Both their cases have been presented to the French courts and they will make a final decision on who will take over the company on April 30th. So, basically we’ll have to wait till the 30th to find out who will be running the company.
The post also goes on the say that:
Both companies are “committed to continue and grow the business”.
This is good news for Shadow overall. Shadow is easily the best cloud PC rental service in the industry right now so losing them would be terrible for cloud gaming overall. I consider this a big win for the cloud gaming community and the industry altogether.
We’ll be looking forward to see which company takes over control of Shadow tech and where this will lead the future prospects of the company.
