It finally happened! Nvidia just sent an email that introduces their upgraded RTX 3080 and has announced the RTX 3080 plan for GeForce Now. This will be a new tier for GeForce Now priced at $99.99 for 6 months. So about $200 a year.
New GeForce Now Tier
This tier will have exclusive access to the GeForce RTX 3080 Ampere class gaming servers. So on top of RTX technology, you’ll get the shortest wait times, and increased sessions of 8 hours. This new tier will unlock 1440p for desktop users with up to 120 FPS capability. This tier will support 4K HDR for SHIELD TV users only.
Pre-order now
If you are looking to upgrade your GeForce Now experience, here is your chance. As a Priority member, you have the chance right now to Pre-Order. Make sure you are logged into to do that. They will notify you once they release this tier so stay tuned. Look for availability sometime around late November or early December.
